I remember my mom and dad always holding the camcorder or taking the photos of my siblings and I as kids.

Our parents recorded everything: our birthdays, Christmas, playing in the front yard, swimming on the hot summer days. It's the most nostalgic feeling looking back on your childhood, I just wish we were able to see more of my parents in the photos and videos, but one of them were always behind the camera.

Having the opportunity to rewatch our life, or flip through our photo albums, really made me cherish the ability to hold and feel those photos. To laugh at my squeaky little voice as a kid. 

Which is why it's your time to enjoy these moments with the people you love. To have the small, simple day to day captured, to life's memories you want to relive. Without having to worry about who's capturing it all.

Circa 2000

I've spent the last 2.5 years in Europe. Opening my mind to all the possibilities life has to offer. I create multiple types of work, but documentary work is where I thrive most.  Following families around their villages, beautiful landscapes, and more intimately -- their homes or welcoming their newest child into the world. I'm constantly drawn to the realness in life. The moments that can't be redone. The ones you write about.
